LESSON PLANS
Also everyone - please make sure to list both your ESSENTIAL QUESTION and ENDURING UNDERSTANDING at the top of each lesson plan.
The essential question will be unique to each lesson, however, the enduring understanding (listed below) is the SAME for everyone.
Please upload your completed lesson plan to the wiki.
ENDURING UNDERSTANDING
"Enduring Understanding: The Progressive Era was a period of reform and empowerment."
9/28: I can only make that time on monday cause I have practice from 3-6 tuesday through fri (Bekah)
Also here are some of the essential questions we talked about together the first time we met:
How did the role of government change in society during the progressive era?
How did working conditions cause reform?
what were the major causes of the reform?
9/28: Let's please begin posting some possible essential questions, lesson topics and possible meeting dates. I would prefer MTW between 3 and 5 (4:30 W) if that's possible. Thanks guys. (Liz)
9/19-Hey I found some of my books from history classes at my undergrad. Two are histories of the era (A Very Different Age:Americans of the Progressive Era by Steven Diner and Crusader Nation: The United States in Peace and the Great War, 1898-1920 by David Traxel) and one contains primary sources, Voices of Freedom: A documentary history. I will bring them into class tomorrow.-Becky
